This sculptural collection deals with the threats and major challenges facing humanity: global warming brought on by climate change, plastic waste which pollutes ecosystems and causes health problems for wildlife, the mass extinction of species resulting from encroachment and other causes of the destruction of natural habits resulting from human activity. All of which will severely disrupt our lifestyles if we fail to voluntarily take speedy action. The collection takes an ironic swipe at the cult of money, and presents human beings as something which evolution has not yet brought enlightenment or fulfilment.
The collection is called “Dualities”, since on one side shows the negatives, while the other leaves room for hope. (ENG)

La col·lecció “Dualities” mostra els principals problemes que genera en el medi ambient, el sistema productiu en què es basen les nostres societats contemporànies. L’he volgut anomenar “Dualities”, perquè a cadascuna de les obres mostro el costat de l’esperança i el costat d’un possible desenllaç negatiu, si no tractem a temps els factors que alteren l’equilibri natural. La colección “Dualities” muestra los principales problemas que genera en el medio ambiente, el sistema productivo en el que se basan nuestras sociedades contemporáneas. Lo he querido llamar “Dualities” porque, en cada una de las obras, muestro el lado de la esperanza y el lado de un posible desenlace negativo, si no tratamos a tiempo los factores que alteran el equilibrio natural.
